This has been bothering me…

For F sakes people, LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS!!! I am not entire sure what Twilight zone you happen to be living in (no this is not a reference to the poorly written psudo-vampire novels, rather the hit TV show from the late 50′s) but in no way, shape or form are leggings pants.

Which might be, oh, I don’t know, why they are called LEGGINGS and not PANTS! Which might just be the first clue.

Now, I know that there are a number of people against me on this one, simply because they happen to be male, and enjoy seeing the camel toe. Why you would want to see camel toe is beyond me, though. I happen to prefer a little bit of suspense and, you know, modesty.

This is a trend that NEEDS to stop. Nothing, and I really mean NOTHING will ever get me into a pair of skintight latex monstrosities unless I happen to be attending a S&M thing.

These are NOT attractive.

Now, please, save me hours of bitching and complaining, unsightly camel toe, and the need to point out spots of cellulite.

On a different note, I am heading to the Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle next week, where I shall meet and greet some of the hot names in the world of nerds. Look forward to the update!

1.9

The world we live in is fed terror and fear in the news daily.

Somebody was murdered, there’s a terrorist attack somewhere, wars, and natural disasters are reigning on high in the popular news and in the headlines.

Its terrible, how much hate there is in this world, and how many people feel it so acutely in their day to day basis.

Its so goddamn depressing.

I try not to read the news. It leaves a sour taste in my mouth about the state of humanity-which I will try not to comment on, since, well, this is meant to be a pg13 site.

Which is why, today, I bring you the Good News Network. They take the days top GOOD news stories and post them. There’s enough diverse topics and areas that most people will be satisfied.

The world isn’t totally full of fear and hate and sometimes, we just need that little reminder.

1.4 Support!

Everybody has something to believe in, whether it be a god, an idea, or science. Some people meld these ideas together, to find something unique to their self, and their beliefs.

It isn’t my-or anyone else’s-place to discriminate against any religion, whether they be widely accepted, such as Christianity,  or something so bizarre it defies definition, such as The flying Spaghetti Monsters pastafarians.

In my search for something to believe in-besides myself-I have found Doctor Steel. He is the embodiment of what I believe in, and what I want to see this world become in the future.

Don’t take my word on it, look into it yourself.

Modified Point of View PT.2

This could be the year that you make all the difference in the world, to yourself, a friend or family member, or to society in general.

What’s stopping you?

I know the stress of work, and family obligations can be intense, but, more people need to take time out of their day to do some of life’s simple things, and have fun in the process. This goes for everyone!

Making someone’s day is quite simple and easy, and, if you’re really pressed, can be of almost no effort on your part.

Feel free to add your own ideas and suggestions in the comments area!

1. Smile. Something as simple as a smile can make a day. It requires little effort on your part, and can bring a lot of happiness to someone who is having a bad day. Without realizing it, many people frown, or look cross when walking down the street, or while shopping-usually because their minds are elsewhere. Try smiling instead, or think of things that bother you while out of the public view. That frown can ruin someone’s day.

2. Courtesy. Saying thank you to the bus driver, or the taxi driver is both proper and deserved. While  these people are just doing their jobs, a simple thank you can make their day a good one, rather then a bad one.

2.1 On that vein, some things are just common courtesy. This one gets me all the time, living in a notoriously rainy city. Umbrellas. In this city especially, no one seems to care that they have an umbrella and get careless. The ends are pointy, watch where they are!! Furthermore, not everyone has an umbrella, or forgets them. If you have one, leave the awnings for those without, instead of hogging it for yourself.

3. Keep your work and private life separate. Don’t bring your work home with you, especially if you’ve had a bad day. Whoever is listening to you rant and rave is getting more and more depressed and unhappy listening to you complain about everything that’s wrong with your life.  Who wants to spend their evenings with a grumpy gus?

4. Have fun. Whatever needs to get done, will get done. Have some fun with your life, you only have one!
